I started my first job in U.K. at this hopital as a Senior House Officer in Colorectal Surgery Department.

I started my Mersey Basic Surgical Training at this hospital and worked in the Accident & Emergency and Trauma & Orthopedic Departments. Worked under the supervision of Mr. Hollingsworth in Accidental Emergency and Steeve Montgomery in Trauma & Orthopedics. I had my first experience of Knee Replacement Surgery almost 20 years ago!

I worked here as part of Mersey Basic Surgical Training in Neuro Intensive Care Unit. I met the First, Best trainer in U.K. Dr. Chris Whitehead. Done 4 audits in a span of 4 months and had the opportunity to work in an Intensive Care Unit. I’m very grateful to Dr. Whitehead for his wonderful and intense training.

Glad to work in this prestigious superregional Cardio Thoracic Centre and had the opportunity to witness the beating Heart Surgeries including Heart Valvular Replacements. Worked with Aung Oo one of the coolest and greatest surgeons I came across in my life.

I worked here as part of Mersey Basic Surgical Training in Pediatric Surgery. I feel privileged and honored to work in this great institution. I worked under the supervision of Mr. Mathew Oliver in Pediatric General Surgery and was involved in very rare and ultra specialized surgeries like the Bianchi Procedure for Bowel lengthening in short gut syndrome etc,. Also gained experience in Paediatric Neurosurgery under the supervision of Mr. Mallucci and Neil Buxton.

I started my first Registrar / Higher Surgical Training in General Surgery and Organized Suturing Training Courses for Junior Doctors. I met Mr. Dipanker Mukherjee one of my all-time favorite trainer and a great human being. He used to say “Ram, I want to make sharpest sword on the earth with you”. I learned a lot of soft skills, patient centered care and ready to offer help to the colleagues at the time of need and exceptional qualities for a good trainer. I am immensely thankful for his supervision and support during my early years of registrar training.

He was an old-time surgeon who could do anything and everything with available resources. I learned Hernia Surgeries, Breast Surgeries, Lymph node biopsies and Feeding gastrostomies etc, under his supervision.

I worked here as a Senior Registrar and gained Super Specialist Surgical Training in Colorectal & GI Surgery. I met many great teachers here and learned most of the complex Surgeries under the guidance and super vision of dedicated senior Surgeons including Robin Dawson, Chris Hall, Martin Farmer, Veera Garimalla, Neil Yeomans, Tim Bullen, David Luke, Sudipta Roy, Philip Vargheese, Chandra Cheruvu, Vittal Rao, Mohammod Khan etc.,

I worked under the super vision of Madan Jha, Anil Reddy in Robotic Surgery Fellowship. Done the MCh Fellowship Course in Minimally Invasive GI Surgery under the supervision of Prof. Vishwanath. Single Port Surgery Training is done under the supervision of Dharmender Garg. Advanced Laparosccopic surgery done under the supervision of Mr. Garud, Mr. Clarke and Mr. Macafee.
